Gianmaria holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Ferrara (2010) and a Master of Advanced Studies in Urban Design from ETH Zürich (2012).
Gianmaria has cultivated a rich professional experience working internationally in diverse contexts, while developing a strong academic presence. Since 2013, he has been teaching at leading institutions including ETH Zürich, INDA Bangkok, the University of Innsbruck, and the Architectural Association London.
In 2021, Gianmaria returned to the Italian hillside to start his own studio, with the vision of blending global expertise with local crafts and genii loci. The studio operates through a multidisciplinary network of professionals, artists and skilled artisans and is currently involved in a range of public and private projects at all scales. The work of the studio is guided by a belief in the generative power of spatial ideas and a no-compromise commitment to precision.
